Natural Burial
Professional support services that you can trust for making burial arrangements that are as earth-friendly as possible.
Preserve their Memory and the Earth
Epilog is committed to natural burial practices which respect our fragile environment. We will work with you to arrange a final resting place with purpose and spiritual fulfillment, while minimizing the carbon footprint associated with contemporary burial practices.
As Nature Intended
Back to Nature
Our team can arrange an environmentally-positive resting place for remains and
offer peace of mind as you make socially-responsible decisions to align with
your environmental goals. There are numerous cemeteries in Nova Scotia that
welcome natural burials. We can liaise with the cemetery and coordinate all
the details for you, or support the actions you want to handle yourself. If
you already have a gravesite purchased, we can look at how to make it a more
natural choice.
Earth-friendly Practices
In alignment with the
Green Burial Council standards
we use only non-toxic, biodegradable products and non-invasive approaches for
cleaning and temporarily preserving a body. We can facilitate acquisition of
environmentally-positive
caskets & shrouds
, and provide suggestions for DIY options.
Celebrating a Life Well Lived
Our team can plan and implement a memorable,
personalized event
that aligns with your values and desires. Contemporary funeral, memorial,
Celebration of Life, or a simple burial with no service – the choice is
yours.
